New academic year begins in the reconnaissance units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On December 1st, 2009, the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered the new academic year. During the ceremonial meetings traditionally held on that day in every reconnaissance unit of the Land Forces, the units’ command and reconnaissance veterans greeted the personnel on this event, important to every serviceman and wished them success in their training.

The contemporary combat experience indicates that expert employment of reconnaissance forces combined with high professionalism of their personnel is a key to successful completion of reconnaissance missions. Therefore, the reconnaissance troopers will focus on comprehensive training sessions on the ground, as well as on night and day firing exercises with the use of authorized weapons.
