Personnel from Ukrainian marines’ reconnaissance unit are to undergo two-day jump training.
Soldiers will practice parachute jumps from An-26 aircraft moving along the designated route at speeds around 300 km/h, at the altitude of 600 meters.

Besides parachute jumps, much attention during such exercises is given to ground training covering safety procedures, jump system components, step-by-step parachute packing, and pre-jump drills.
The basic purpose of such exercises is to teach the marines to perform parachute jumps from aboard fixed-wing aircraft under various weather conditions, altitudes.
