A gala meeting was held at the DIU House of Culture and Recreation on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
| On December 4, 2009, a gala meeting was held at the HQ of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The festivities was attended by acting Minister of Defence of Ukraine Valeriy Ivashchenko. Head of the defence department of Ukraine greeted the DIU personnel on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanked them for conscientious performance of their duties and presented awards of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine to the most deserving servicemen and civilian employees of the DIU. In his turn, the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine greeted the personnel present at the meeting, as well as their families on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, wished them good health, peace, happiness, family well-being and further accomplishments in the name of Ukrainian people. The festivities were followed by a holiday concert. |
