Intelligence Service Decorations


 

 

 

 

 

The incentive decoration "The Star of Fame" is awarded to the servicemen and civilians of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine and its subsidiary units – in recognition of individual achievements in the performance of intelligence tasks, dedication and steadfastness, and for a years-long irreproachable service. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The incentive decoration "For Valor in the Performance of Special Tasks" is awarded to the servicemen and civilians of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine and its subsidiary units for valor, bravery, dedication and steadfastness, demonstrated in the performance of special tasks.

 

 


The incentive decoration "Honorary Decoration" is awarded to the servicemen and civilians of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations under the current Ukrainian legislation, representatives of the State Authorities and other citizens of Ukraine, foreigners and persons without citizenship – in recognition of their contribution to the accomplishment of intelligence tasks, and their merits related to work of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

 

 

 
The incentive decoration "For the contribution to the work of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine" is awarded to the servicemen and civilians of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations formed under the Ukrainian legislation, representatives of the State Authorities and other citizens of Ukraine, foreigners and persons without citizenship – in recognition of their individual contribution to the reformation, development and support of the effective functioning of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the diligent and impeccable performance of service duties, the participation in or contribution to the accomplishment of intelligence tasks and in recognition of other merits related to the work of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.  

 

 

The incentive decoration "For the contribution to the work of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine" has two levels: "For the contribution to the work of the Defense Intelligence  of Ukraine" of the 1st level and "For the contribution to the work of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine" of the 2nd level. The highest level of the medal is the 1st one.

 

 

 

 

  

The incentive decoration “Defence Intelligence Veteran” is awarded to the servicemen and civilian employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:

- who work in the Defence Intelligence system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and have particular achievements in the performance of tasks, are a model of adherence to the military oath, have served for more than 25 calendar years (at least15 years in the system of the Defence Intelligence).

- the retiring employees of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and servicemen of the Defence Intelligence system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with more than 25 years of service - in recognition of the diligent and impeccable performance of military (service) duties.

- persons retired from the military service that usually have more than 25 years of service - for active participation in the patriotic education of younger servicemen. 

  
 The incentive decoration “For Devotion to the Defence Intelligence” is awarded to military personnel of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, reconnaissance units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who have particular service achievements, serve an example of allegiance to the Oath, are model servicemen and demonstrate self-devotion and persistence in their service.  
There are three Classes to the Medal “For Devotion to the Defence Intelligence”: 3rd, 2nd, and 1st, Medal “For Devotion to the Defence Intelligence” 1st Class being the highest.
   
 The incentive decoration "15 years of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine" is awarded to the servicemen and civilians of Armed Forces of Ukraine and other persons on the occasion of the 15th Anniversary of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine – in recognition of their individual contribution to the reformation, development and support of the effective functioning of the Ukrainian Armed Service, the diligent and impeccable performance of service duties, the participation in intelligence missions or contribution to their accomplishment and in recognition of other merits related to the work of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
