Sport fishing contest

Sport fishing contest among DIU personnel successfully held.
Fifty-two contestants divided into 8 teams demonstrated their skills on a sunny Saturday.

Such contests have become the DIU staff’s good tradition.

The event’s program included flagging and drawing of fishing docks, fishing part, and deciding of winners. The participants, many of whom were old fishers, managed to achieve good results in the three hours allowed for actual fishing by the contest’s regulations.



The winners received cups, diplomas, and presents. The fish caught was used for making a tasty fish soup which every participant was offered to taste.
