On August 24, 2010, the Ukrainian people will celebrate the main national holiday - the Independence Day of Ukraine. This outstanding date has certainly forever come to the history of the Ukrainian state as a gold page of its biography. It has opened a new epoch in the life of our people and has legislatively consolidated its democratic aspirations to national revival, spiritual freedom, economic growth and cultural development. Having exercised its own right for self-determination, the Ukrainian people confidently proceed along the path of state formation, gain foothold as a nation and augment centuries-old achievements and traditions of the sons and daughters of Ukraine. The Armed forces of Ukraine, entrusted with vital tasks of our State’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability protection, play a significant role in these processes. Due to its professionalism, diligence and persistence the DIU and military intelligence units’ personnel in good faith carry out the assigned objectives and consolidate authority of our service in the state. This day of a nationwide holiday, I sincerely wish you all and members of your families good health, pep and success for the sake of prosperity of our nation. |
Let the source of your faith, hope and love to our native land never shoal and rise in energy and self-confidence.
Glory to Ukraine!
