Graduation ceremony for military diplomats

Graduation ceremony takes place at the Military Diplomatic Academy.
This is the first graduation since Military Diplomatic Academy was established in accordance with the Cabinet’s Decree No. 836 of August 5, 2009 resulting from reorganization of the Joint Institute under the National Defence Academy of Ukraine.

Military Diplomatic Academy is a level 4 higher educational establishment which provides training for Masters of Military Management with major in Military Management in Foreign Affairs.

Students who just left the Academy were greeted by their friends and family members, as well as by representatives of various Ukrainian security agencies, NGO’s. Hero of Ukraine, Honoured Soldier of the Military Diplomatic Academy, Doctor of Pedagogy, Honoured Teacher of Ukraine, Major-General (Ret.) Eugene Bereznyak also came to greet the graduates.

Best students received their distinction diplomas from hands of the Defence Intelligence Chief, Lieutenent-General Victor Hvozd.

In his congratulatory speech, General Hvozd underscored that a number of Academy’s graduates hold key positions within the Ukrainian MoD and represent our nation with honour within the diplomatic institutions abroad.

The celebration was closed with the traditional ceremony of farewell to the Combat Banner of the Military Diplomatic Academy.
