A briefing was held at the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, HQ, dedicated to the “gender policy in the Armed Forces of Ukraine”.
A briefing was held at the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, HQ, dedicated to the “gender policy in the Armed Forces of Ukraine”.
The briefing was held by Major Nataliya Dubchak, senior officer at the Culture& Spirituality section, MoD Department of Humanitarian Policy. Maj. Dubchak serves pro bono as an adviser to the Minister of Defence of Ukraine on geder issues.
The lecturer spoke about the history of gender equality in Ukraine, having particularly addressed the work done by our state and the Ministry of Defence in this field. Nataliya Dubchak told the audience about the way the European experience is studied and implemented in Ukraine, and how specific problem-related laws are prepared.
At the end of the briefing, DIU personnel thanked the lecturer for her interesting report on the subject and invited her to further visits.
