Greetings on the occasion of International Day of the women's rights and peace

On March 8, the International Women’s Day is celebrated in Ukraine. Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine congratulated women on the occasion.

Dear women!


I address you with the words of respect, love, and gratitude on the occasion of a wonderful holiday of motherhood, beauty, spiritual warmth, tenderness, and caress – the International Women’s Day!

Woman is a temple of love and kindness; she is a pledge of love and harmony. It is you who symbolize the spring renewal of the planet, the wholeness of beauty and joy, the embodiment of hopes for the best.

From the bottom of my heart I congratulate our dear women, our comrades in service and work; those who associate their lives with the military and bear the heavy burden of the military service upon their tender shoulders. Significant indeed is the contribution you’re making into the national defence capability, and for this I’m truly thankful.

We bow to the ground in honour of those women whose youth has been scorched by the war. Side by side with your fathers, husbands and brothers you fought the enemy in the hard times of war. With your devoted work and your feat of arms you drew the Victory nearer. We bend our heads before your courage, tenacity, patience.

I sincerely congratulate the soldiers’ mothers; all those whose sons, husbands, and fathers serve today in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

I wish you all uncontainable happiness, strong health, love and everlasting beauty, peace and understanding in your homes!

Let all your hopes and dreams come true!
