“Honorary Citizen of Liubeshiv District” Title Is Bestowed to a Perished Warrior of the 130th Separate Reconnaissance Batallion in Volyn Region

Recently, Liubeshiv District Council of Volyn region took a decision on posthumously bestowing the “Honorary Citizen of Liubeshiv District” title to Ivan Khrupchyk, resident of Sudche village and who perished in ATO area. Documents and awards will be presented to perished warrior’s family.

Ivan Khrupchyk served at the 130th separate reconnaissance battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed in October of 2016 while performing a combat task in Donetsk region.

It should be noted that inhabitants of Volyn region constantly commemorate the courage countrymen. So, a memorial plaque in honour of Ivan Khrupchyk was unveiled on façade of local school and an apple garden was named after him.
