The Head of the State congratulated the legendary intelligence officer Yevhen Bereznyak with his 95th anniversary
The Head of the State Viktor Uschenko congratulated the legendary intelligence officer, the Hero of Ukraine, retired Major-General Yevhen Bereznyak with his 95th anniversary, according to the report of the press-service of the President of Ukraine.
For his personal bravery, demonstrated in the struggle against the fascist invaders, for his input into the development of the veterans movement and into the patriotic education of the youth, and on the occasion of his 95th birthday, the Head of the State awarded Yevhen Bereznyak with the order "For the merits" of the 1st degree.
The Head of the State wished Yevhen Bereznyak sound health, longevity and offered flowers and souvenirs.
In his turn Yevhen Bereznyak, whose jubilee was celebrated, offered to the President of Ukraine three-volume edition of his book "The selected pedagogical works", which was published recently.
