On March 12, 2009, a meeting with the psychologists of the subordinate units took place in order to improve the officers’ knowledge and practical skills related to their professional activity. In addition, the prospects of psychological methods application in the personnel development were covered, including their relevance for the timely effect upon the military work environment.

In addition, the prospects of psychological methods application in the personnel development were covered, including their relevance for the timely effect upon the military work environment.
During a panel discussion, the participants of the meeting talked over “the System of psychological support of the personnel professional activity in the DIU HQ and the subordinate units: problems and prospects”. The discussed subject is significant for military service professionalization. The psychological support officers of the subordinate units touched upon a series of problematic issues of practical value that, when resolved, should increase the personnel professional efficiency. During the meeting, the officers of the morale welfare department provided the psychological support officers with methodological assistance, while all the problematic issues were taken into account to be resolved with the shortest possible delay.
