On April 12 this year, a double holiday is celebrated in Ukraine - the Day of the workers of Ukrainian Space and Rocket Industry. which is approved by the Decree of the President of Ukraine (March 13, 1997, No230/97), and the World Aviation and Cosmonautics Day.

The experts of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine together with the representatives of the Special Programs Directorate of the National Space Agency and the National Space Facilities Control and Test Center have over 10 years been mastering and practising new achievements in space industry in the interests of national security and defence of our motherland.
Close interaction between the branches of the National Space Agency and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine within the framework of four National Space Programs of Ukraine provides considerable results. Specifically, a number of space technology projects are being finalized by the Space Agency in the interests of both defence and national economy of Ukraine under harmoniously functioning system of high-tech development and improvement.
Referring to certain aspects and directions of our joint activities with the National Space Agency, they can be confidently characterized as those focused on achieving a high goal - to ensure security and to protect the national interests of Ukraine.
On behalf of the personnel of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine I would like to congratulate all the employees of the enterprises and organizations of the Space and Rocket Industry of Ukraine, as well as the personnel of the DIU Space Intelligence Service on the occasion of the professional holiday.
