The Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been celebrated in the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine

On the eve of the 17th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the festivities were held in the House of culture and recreation of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine to celebrate the event.
Opening the solemn meeting, the Chief of the Defense Intelligence Major-General Viktor Gvozd' said:
"17 years ago a historical event took place – the renaissance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, not creation, but a renaissance indeed, because Ukraine has already gained its independence 6 times, but lost it 5 times".
"I am convinced that patriotism and honesty, multiplied by professionalism, will become a solid ground for the renaissance of the values of the Ukrainian army. This is why on the renewed emblem of the Defense Intelligence these three "whales" were used, on which the Defense Intelligence must be based on: patriotism, honesty and professionalism", – added the Chief of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
Also Viktor Ivanovich congratulated all the present servicemen and their families on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he wished them good health, happiness, wellbeing, peace, concord and new achievements in the name of the Ukrainian people.
A great number of the military and civil personnel, veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine got State awards on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The festivities were concluded by a solemn concert.
