A group of DIU personnel visited the National Museum of the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War. The event was organized within the framework of patriotic education and dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The agency’s personnel saw some unique displays during their visit to the Memorial complex: Mother Motherland monument, main square with the Alley of hero-cities and sculptures of “The Dnipro crossing” and “The Arms transfer”. Among other things to see were the Gallery of heroes of the frontline and the rear featuring bronze high relieves, and the permanent exhibition of materiel and weapons.

The DIU personnel displayed particular interest in the documentary exhibition entitled “War and Victory in the historical memory of the Ukrainian people” dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory, and another exhibition under the title “From Kushka to Kabul” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of bringing of Soviet troops to Afghanistan.

After the tour, DIU employees sincerely thanked the museum staff for the captivating and informative excursion.
