Camp period continues for the scouts of 28th separate infantry brigade, 6th army corps, Army of Ukraine at the Black Sea training ground.
In order to improve the level of reconnaissance units’ personnel field training and their cohesion during the joint actions in different types of combat, special and tactical training tasks were carried out within the framework of camp training.
Reconnaissance units performed development into the area of imaginary enemy, carried out tactical, physical, special and fire training exercises, and trained hand-to-hand combat. Experienced officers-instructors taught the personnel to develop secretly to the seizure objective, to capture prisoners, documents, arms samples, etc. in practice, taking into account all the peculiarities of such actions.
During the training exercise, the scouts paid particular attention to active use of experience gained by reconnaissance units during warfare in local conflicts. They also paid great attention to individual training of scouts and their skills to reconnoitre in different types of combat.
The field training will last for almost a month at the formation training ground. According to the results of the camp period, the best units and officers will be defined.
Noteworthy is that after the training, 28th separate infantry brigade scouts will face another challenge – “Adequate reaction – 2011” tactical exercises.
