On May 29, the International Day of UN Peacekeepers is celebrated in Ukraine. The Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine expressed his greetings, addressing the peacekeepers on this occasion.
Dear comrades!
On May 29th , the International Day of UN Peacekeepers is celebrated.
Peacekeeping has become an important part of the international security system.
Over eighty countries of the world, including our nation, have joined the peacekeeping process by now.
The peacekeeping activities promote the strengthening of external security guarantees for the state, create conditions for Ukraine's joining authoritative international security structures.
The soldiers in blue helmets under Ukrainian flag actively participate in maintaining peace and stability in many countries of the world. They show high professionalism, courage and the selflessness in fulfilling their service duties, thus raising the authority of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and of our state as a whole.
With all my heart I congratulate you, dear peacekeeping soldiers, on the International Day of UN Peacekeepers!
