Reconnaissance vehicle crews training is completed in the intelligence field units and subunits of the Army of Ukraine
In order to maintain the proper readiness of Ukrainian Land Forces’ reconnaissance units and subunits to accomplish special missions the preestablished military training with BRM – 1K was carried out.
Such exercises are planned and arranged with regard to the careful analysis of the recent years’ experience in preparation and conduct of local wars and armed conflicts. This analysis testifies to the effectiveness of technical reconnaissance equipment used to expose the adversary’s objects.
During exercises under the guidance of experienced instructors reconnaissance troopers were able to enhance their skills in operating the BRM-1K reconnaissance kit. The training was conducted by day and night on the specially equipped subranges for specialists, separately, and for the whole crews together. Because of high temperatures much attention has been paid to the fire-prevention measures.
During the training period a considerable amount of exercises has been drilled, including the setting-up procedures of BRM-1K reconnaissance equipment and devices, reconnaissance making, repair of possible equipment malfunctions etc
