Reconnaissance personnel off for field exercises in Dnipropetrovsk region

Dnipropetrovsk-region-based reconnaissance units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces began field exercises according to combat training plans.

Personnel of the reconnaissance unit under a 6 Army Corps mechanized brigade (separate) will take part in field exercise in the formation’s range which will last for nearly a month. The purpose of such exercise held once a year is to build up reconnaissance personnel’s field proficiency, enhance teamwork in various forms of combat.
Reconnaissance troopers will develop special skills and learn drills in tactics, physical and special training, range practice, and hand-to-hand combat. Skilled officers will train soldiers on discreet advancement to target area, capturing enemy personnel, documents, weapons etc.

The field exercise will particularly focus on practicing various scenarios including river crossing, rugged-terrain combat with employment of terrain advantages.
After the results assessment, best units, personnel will be determined.
