Activity
The Council of the Association fruitfully cooperates with representatives of organs of the State and executive power and other public organizations in the accomplishment of the statutory tasks of the
Association.

Honorary members of the Association
The Congress of the Association, held on November 1st, 2003, approved the decision to amend the Statute of the Association. According to the amended Statute the Council of the Association was given an authority to nominate honorary members of the Union.

The successful candidate for this nomination must have personal merits and relevant achievements gained during the service in the intelligence, take active part in the Association's work, propagandize the best traditions of the intelligence service and share his experience with the young generation.

Today the Association numbers 12 Honorary members. Noteworthy, that among them there are 2 Heroes of Ukraine and 3 Heroes of the Soviet Union.

The Association has a huge potential in popularizing intelligence traditions because 70% of its members have practical intelligence experience gained during combat, peacekeeping and special operations.

Symbols and decorations
In order to indicate a membership in the Association its logotype has been created and approved. All decorations and symbols of the Association now have this logo. 

In order to encourage veterans and the most active members of the Association the following awards have been established: the decoration "For Allegiance to Intelligence Traditions" which has III levels and presented with a special diploma; the honorary diploma and the diploma.
