The competitions of the Sports and athletics meetings of the Defense intelligence of Ukraine have started

With the beginning of the year 2009 the competitions of the Sports and athletics meetings of the Defense intelligence of Ukraine have started. This year intelligence officers will designate the best sportsmen in nine sports, among which -mini-football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, swimming, weight-lifting, arm-wrestling, all-round competitions involving strength demonstration etc.

It is worth mentioning, that in the Defense intelligence of Ukraine quite a substantial consideration is given to the issues of the physical training. For many years the team of the intelligence officers have been a leader in many sports activities at the Sports and athletics meetings of the representatives of the central staff of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine. Thus, in 2008 the sportsmen of the Defense intelligence of Ukraine became the winners in five kinds of sports competitions, finally winning the first team place.

Recently the competitions of the Sports and athletics meetings of the Defense intelligence of Ukraine in table tennis took place, as well as all-round competitions involving strength demonstration. More than 60 participants in several categories took part in these competitions. In a vigorous struggle the best sportsmen were designated, who will make the core of the combined team of the Defense intelligence of Ukraine for the participation in the competitions among the representatives of the central staff of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine. The prizes were presented to the winners by the Head of the Sports committee of the Defense intelligence of Ukraine.
