The Mass Media released information concerning the participation of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in the termination of activities conducted by the radical Islamic movement “At Takfir Wal Hidjra,” including the territory of Сrimea.

Separate publications are of clearly provocative nature, aimed at discrediting the intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
The DIU Public Affairs Service is authorized to state that, according to the Law of Ukraine “On the intelligence bodies of Ukraine”, the participation in countering terrorism and transnational organized crime is one of the primary missions of the intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. The participation in countering the illicit drugs trafficking, illicit arms trade and proliferation of arms manufacturing technologies is also among the primary tasks of the DIU, along with controlling the irregular migration and taking measures to counteract the external threats to the national security of Ukraine.
