Before the 24th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, Ukrainian Defence Intelligence personnel visited the National Chernobyl Museum of the Ukrainian Ministry of Inferior.

During the visit, guests had a opportunity to see a unique exposition entitled “Est dolendi modus, non est timendi” (To suffering there is a limit; to fearing, none), which tells about the heroism, selfless work of specialists various many fields, both civilian and military, who carried out a relief operation after the largest contemporary manmade radio-ecological disaster, i.e. the nuclear disaster at the Chernobyl power plant. The exposition reflects post-Chernobyl ecological situation in Ukraine and international efforts on limiting the Chernobyl aftermath.

After the tour, DIU personnel thanked the museum staff for the opportunity to get a better understanding of disaster’s real scale. They pointed out the outstanding emotional effect and philosophical sense of the exposition.
