Today, pupils of the “cadet class”, 107 Kyiv gymnasium visited the Military Intelligence History Museum of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
Today, pupils of the “cadet class”, 107 Kyiv gymnasium visited the Military Intelligence History Museum of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
Within the framework of military and patriotic education of the youth, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Podil district of Kyiv Administration continue devoting much attention to teenagers’ education, comprehensive development, formation of their public spirit, love and allegiance to their Motherland, and military traditions.
This time, pupils of the “cadet class”, 107 Kyiv gymnasium were invited to the Military Intelligence History Museum of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine to be given an opportunity to peek into the mysterious world of intelligence. The cadets were invited to see the museum’s displays that illustrate major historical stages of Ukrainian intelligence, from the Cossack era to present day. The pupils showed great interest in the stands devoted to the feats performed by the intelligence and reconnaissance men during the Great Patriotic War. Cadets were also particularly interested in the section of the museum that displays the participation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the peacekeeping operations.
Expressing her gratitude for the tour, class supervisor Svitlana Ryzhenko stressed the importance and significance of such events. It is such events that enable the young people to see the past and the present of our armed Forces, to understand the greatness of the feats accomplished by the numerous generations of those who were defending the Ukrainian state, and to set the guidelines for their future life, she said.
